Nick’s team spends all day doing donuts?
    Sounds fun!

Looks like bog-standard lizard people to me.

To me they look like Komodo dragons, but I’m not sure what they’d be doing in a (presumably) American desert.
In any case, I think the nearer one has limbs, so probably not snakes.

        The fire spitting ones?

They look to be very young Gorn. The Metrons will not be happy.

Nick’s team must be using the Vietnam body count metric to justify their expense accounts.

Unless you bring trouble to their neighborhood, the Metrons, like honey badger, don’t care.

Yeah, I’m getting Asshole Government Superhero vibes here (and I’m surprised AGS isn’t a TV Tropes category already)

Huh. You know, it wouldn’t surprise me if it did show up as a trope one of these days.

Poor lizard people…until I see signs of actual villainy I’m assuming this is how the Old War restarts.

As can be clearly seen, they have upper limbs. Thus, arms. Thus, they’re armed.

Venomous… I’d be willing to bet that their saliva is not wholly healthful.

A lot of reptiles have remarkably good oral hygiene. Amongst other things, Komodo dragon infections are apparently caused by their prey deciding to go through contaminated rivers when suffering from dragon-induced injury.

That’s right, blame the victim! Seriously, a lot of reptiles, and a fair number of mammals, have secretions and/or bacteria in their saliva which cause extra problems for whatever they bite. Why does this warrant extreme skepticism, especially regarding an ambush hunter like the Komodo?

          Komodo actually *do* have venom.

I guess a lot will also depend on how well they fry up and how they taste…

“…what they do is donuts.” Almost makes sense that way. Maybe if it was “bogus,” but then, Nick’s Censor Filter would be taking out non-swearing…

I think nicks filters are starting to make sense as is sparkling and peachy also make sense and I have no idea what curse words would make sense in that context. Also I think the sensor ai might become the final villein of skin horse.

I’m betting the censor AI is definitely more of a problem than we think. Everything else Dr Lee has done, from melon baller to turkey baster, has been in the service of a greater cause(science!, defend America, etc). The censor was installed because Nick was slightly annoying. It’s a purely evil act, and I don’t see that not having repercussions down the line.

I like to think of Nick’s Censor Filter as gaining in sentience and intelligence the more Nick works it. Maybe someday Nick’ll ask it for a date…
