well that explains things in an anticlimactic yet humorous way

Sometimes, you just need a good anticlimax.

I’m pretty sure they meant “why” not “how, Rebecca

Why did he trick them into coming? Why focus on them?

Maybe Alt!Sergio knows this universe can be upgraded?

I’m pretty sure they meant “how” and not “why”. However “why” is a far more important and relevant question and he should be asking it. Sergio *is* kind of singularly obsessed about his nemesis, isn’t he? I kind of like that alt-tip doesn’t really brook with his (or anyone else’s) tunnel vision.

By that logic shouldn’t he be able to perfectly predict the other guys moves too?

No, alt-Sergio isnt, for example, Sweetheart, so he doesn’t think in the same way, and cannot predict her. Sweetheart and alt-Sweetheart can predict each other, since they are very similar people

Too many variables? He knows nothing about the other guy’s situation, while the other guy has apparently been observing him for a while. Also, it’s taken Sergio this long just to find out the other guy’s identity, he couldn’t hope to have done any predicting before, but maybe he can now that he knows.

Our Sergio spent a lot of time observing the alternate timelines. On the other hand, apparently so did Mr. Green.

    ‘Eyepatch’ nothing!
This guy’s got a WAY cool life support system.

Looked like a good old fashioned iron lung to me, but it could just be a superficial resemblance.

alt-Sergio’s iron lung should at least have a cool, albeit anachronistic, steam punk design. Because alt-Sergio.

So then the Guy in the Iron Lung is Evil Sergio…blows my theory.

Still…a detour to confront him postpones the final showdown in Colma between Evil Unity and Less-Evil Unity…

There goes my next theory: Artie’s brain in Sergio’s body.

Unless… he’s got both brains? Did Claire squeeze them both into that skull? Or maybe one brain is in his chest cavity, hence the need for external lungs…
