If ever reminder were needed that his mojo is back in full swing…

Nice to see him using his powers for good.

Well, we didn’t actually see it, but we got enough information to visualize it…

Frankly, I’m just as glad that we didn’t see it. And I’m sorry that I visualized it.

    He didn’t.

      Of course he did.

Ooooh, I didn’t get the last panel until I read the whole strip, heh, looking back it’s pretty obvious.

And he managed it in that drab uniform. (Or perhaps no longer in the uniform…He’ll probably come out wearing her outfit,)
But what will Sweetheart think when she sees that crooked, poorly-kerned sign Tip taped to the door? How severe a breach of protocol is that? Disciplinary forms to be completed in color-coded quadruplicate.

Color coding is important – even if dogs are color blind.

Now they say dogs aren’t entirely color-blind.

Makes sense. An animal’s colour vision is inversely related to their ability to see in the dark. So in theory, a cat is roughly 5 times as colour-blind as a dog, since they can see in the dark 5 times better than a dog.

I dunno — my understanding is that cats see colour but mostly just don’t care (other than some cats preferring to eat out of red or orange dishes and sleep on red or orange fabrics … which conflicts with other sources saying cats are red-green colourblind dichromats — odd). Early experimental results suggesting they were colourblind turned out to be difficulty communicating to the cats that colour was what the experimenters cared about, yes? I suspect the superior night vision in cats compared to dogs has more to do with a more effective tapetum lucidum and/or wider opening iris, rather than rod:cone ratio … but I’m guessing.

And I think I know where the rest of my afternoon is about to go.

It’s more complicated than that, since some animal eyes have different colour detection setups. And more rods do not automatically mean less cones across species (eyes may be significantly bigger, for example). But mostly true for mammals in a similar size range.

It nearly got him killed on several occasions. And more than once resulted in the girl getting killed. That’s not exactly a great track record.

Okay, that was pretty dodgy, even if for a good cause – he was in a position of authority over her (even if faked), and she was deathly afraid to make a good impression on the “inspectors”…

Well, Tip is something of a pornomancer. He’d be able to tell if she wasn’t really into it. (Assuming she wasn’t another mad scientist or a Mr. Green-level liar, of course).

Yes, yes it would be, and shame on you for putting that thought in our heads. Where did I keep the whiskey again? I’m going to need a large dose.

I’m glad to know that with all his new drive for humane behavior, he still remembers
where ‘it’ all originates. There’s a real reason the US thrives when it has a horn-dog
    at the helm.

As a good government employee, Tip’s sure to be Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA) compliant…gotta be an Equal Opportunity lover. Does’t discriminate based on gender, either.

Tip’s mojo must be still recuperating a bit for him to be recruiting one at a time…

It was just him and Virginia back at Groom Lake, and that was before he lost his Mojo. Just because he’s capable of handling more doesn’t mean he’s compelled to do it all the time.
