Shaenon: I did these sketches about two years ago. From the time we started working on the New Orleans storyline, I wanted Unity to appear as Baron Samedi, but I had no idea how it was going to happen. All things considered, I think it worked out pretty well.

And Tip acquires lots of beads. We didn’t even try to explain how that happens.

Channing: I find it funny that Tip appears to be doing the Girls Gone Wild thing here and is on the verge of ripping his top off for the camera. Chest hair! Ooh, scandalous.

Shaenon: It’s kind of shocking now, since I don’t draw him with the body hair anymore.
