I really like this, too often it is the guys going on about the girl+girl action.

      What girl-on-girl action? Ever?
The stuff that only gets talked about and never actually happens, as opposed to the inordinate amounts of male homoeroticism that gets thrown about on a regular basis simply for the purpose of counteracting the mythical female equivalent?

Of course I’m indifferent to both topics. My only interest is documenting the real versus the imaginary.

While I prefer yuri personally, I feel that everyone should have their preferred form of eye candy, within reason. So, yes, let the ladies (and gay guys, and bisexuals) enjoy some beefcake by all means!

I can name two movies that have women fighting in the mud; Legend of Boggy Creek 2 And The Legend Continues, and Swamp Diamonds. I’m sure there are a few more in my MST3K collection but I don’t need to go check.

No mud, but The Brain That Wouldn’t Die did have women fighting in the stereotypical “catfight” manner.

From Russia With Love has a very famous catfight.

Is panel 3 a reference to the extended cut of Monty Python and the Holy Grail, when Dingo breaks the Fourth Wall, and characters from previous scenes say this?

GIven that The Creators didn’t chime in, possibly not, or possibly they have better things to do than Archive Trawl their own strip.

I would assume that they – like me – get an email for every comment that someone leaves on any strip, so they don’t need to “archive trawl” to see it.

As for panel 3, while I can see the similarity, I don’t see it as a reference to Monty Python, since all those ladies are actually here watching the guys.

There’s also a possibility that it’s a nod to the end of the movie Clue, where Tim Curry is explaining all the events of the evening, and there’s a couple times when everyone else in the room yells that at him.

Ladies, beefcake if you must, but don’t leave your dirty laundry out where people can trip over it.
