Echo Bravo are his initials. His name is Edward Bishop.

And now we come to the real reason they were there. Not so they could find Nick, not so theyy could fall in love, but so Jonah could give this guy a lesson on shoe care. Plus I’m pretty sure J-man kept the wrench. 🙂

I don’t quite get how he knows the footwear stuff, though. Jonah told him the stuff so that he could get the code so that on his next life he could KO the guy with impunity, so presumably he never gave the guy the shoe instructions in his eventual “successful run”.

Jonah polished one of the guard’s shoes first to show him how it was done (in exchange for the security phrase). Then he knocked the guard out with the wrench. This was the final run-through, so the compliant shoe stayed with the guard (who may or may not know/remember all the techniques).

        (Necroposting for no good reason….)

Yes, Echo Bravo told Jonah the security phrase before Jonah showed him how to polish the shoe. Echo Bravo isn’t very good at his job. This, oddly, is what makes him indispensable.
