“Islands in the stream, that is what we are…”

I wouldn’t want to be an island in that stream.

……never occured to me to think it would ever be used in that context.

Way back when I first heard the song, all I could think of was the Hemingway book title.

Not to put on any pressure, but off in the distance I hear a filk coming.

Not from me. I’ve shot my bolt this week.

When death of the author is insufficient.

Leo could have Remy call Hemingway back, just to tell him that he’s been marking his territory as retribution for Hemingway hunting lions (actually, it was just the one lion, but still…).

It would probably end up with Leo ‘marking’ Hemingway. Which would be pretty much par for the course for Remy.

One must warn Leo: cats who’ve sprayed often get spayed.

Not so. We had a cat that was spayed, but he still sprayed.

          That doesn’t negate Robert’s statement.

From what I’ve heard about Hemingway, he would consider that reason to add a second lion to his resume.

Hemingway did nothing to those lions that he wasn’t willing to do to himself.

This I must share with my non-webcomic-reading sister.

Bet Hemingway didn’t shoot lions in the Keys.

Perhaps that’s only because there were no lions in the keys.
