Mendoza seems to be having tremendous difficulty with her lifestyle.

Let’s not be starting any new Earth invasions right now. I get the feeling President Sweetheart would have difficulty digesting the invading armada.

Hope to see more of Squid Unity, SweeTip, and Dr. Mendoza. You can’t introduce a talking zombie squid and just throw the character away!

Wait, the red thing is supposed to be Unity? I’m so confused!

Yep! Apparently Unity in that Universe made a body out of squid bits one day. Why? Come on, it’s UNITY!

        So where’s it at?

I am thinking SweeTip is the result of a Tuvix-type accident… an Odd Couple in one body…

Or they never worked out how to cure the lycanthropy virus, and Tip was stuck as a werewolf.

Sweetheart, meanwhile, was introduced to the teaching profession by Artie, and never worked for Skin Horse.

Audio version of the book or, for true fans, the CDs of the original radio series.

“What”, I hear you cry, “there was a radio series?!”

            ;-p

Hardly need to tell you what the tune is for this.
    [Backing vocals, throughout:] Squid-Unity, Squid-Unity, Squid-Unity, Squid-Unity….

In the ocean, the mighty ocean,
    The zombie sleeps tonight
    In the ocean, alternate ocean
    The zombie sleeps tonight

Through the portal, the shiny portal
    The zombie swims tonight
Through the portal, the world-gate portal
    The zombie swims tonight

Hush my darling, don’t fear a rampage
    The zombie sleeps tonight
Hush my darling, don’t fear a rampage
    The zombie sleeps tonight

I wonder if Professor Hawking considered these type of characters when contemplating the multi-verse. Can we meet our own mirror characters?

That might be for the best. Their planet doesn’t have much, since most of the resources have been wasted in the various apocalypses (apocalypi?). By becoming an inter-dimensional waystation, they could benefit from trade and new ideas, and rebuild their civilization. St. Charlie might be nuts, but they have the tech to make it a reality.

I have no clue why there’s a Squid!Unity there, but the way you drew it reminds me very much of The Simpsons, so, um… good job, I guess?

I knew something like this was coming, but I wasn’t sure what form it would take. Unity being a squid from the Simpsons is certainly unique.
