I’m sure Gavotte is in the clover nowadays, keeping up with the latest buzz, enjoying being in the top of her field. Either that, or she’s organizing different cells so she can run a sting operation on Anasigma.
At this point it’s been almost four years with not the slightest sign of Gavotte. I kind of suspected that Nick accidentally killed her at the end of ‘The Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day’. Just because her individual bees were still wiggling doesn’t mean that the interruption in process continuity didn’t kill her. Just like if Whimsy’s constituent employees all left the company they would still be alive but there’s a good chance that she wouldn’t be.
I was wondering when that’d become a plot point
We’ve run into so many others in this chapter, why not Gavotte, too?
No one ever leaves the cast; our attention is simply directed elsewhere for a while.
They have tried, from time to time, but mundane events befell them and they were forced to return in order to escape the ennui.
Maybe Gavotte is spending some time with her daughter Pavanne.
