But if she combs her hair the right way no one will ever notice. 😛

Yes, but considering what she got done last time, it’s going to be an uphill battle to convince Aimee that this is a good thing.

I’m pleasantly glad it’s not actually a virus… but also not entirely convinced Lovelace isn’t malware of some kind.

As Helen pointed out, “AIs aren’t human. Even when they mean well, they analyze things differently.”

And even back on Madblood’s moon base, Lovelace overlooked – or simply chose to disregard – the organic concerns of at least a couple humans – one of whom was her creator – when she initiated the self-destruct.

I’ve considered one of the major themes of Skin Horse to be an exploration of how NHSes in general think differently from humans. Cinnamon is a good example of that. She’s a cat with human level intelligence, but she still definitely has the personality of a cat.

Speaking as an anti-brainwashing human, bleep you Lovelace. A lot of Narbonica-universe organic non-humans died because of that mind-control tech.

    Boo! Hisss…

It’s a lot easier to fight evil when you have a sanctuary to run your operations out of. Not everyone is lucky enough to have fallen ass-backwards into a skyscraper on legs.

And what kind of well intentioned havoc will come from it?

I may see something interesting. Are Continuity and Angie “near”?

I’m completely with Aimee on this one. Bit of a difference between running around trying to *fix* human brains on the one hand and actively preventing an attempt to keep them from being gratuitously ruined upon the other so Lovelace’s excuse strikes me as lame. 😛

Oh snap! This is how Reality Blindess works, isn’t it?
