BBC radio is available throughout the world via this newfangled connection of thinking engines via telephony.. Of course, Moustachio doesn’t use that himself, but I’m sure Tip or someone is happy to set him up with what he still calls the Home Service.
Yeah I could imagine he uses internet radio, I guess I just imagined him as a mainly analogue kinda guy. My headcannon now is that shadow government employees get unlimited satellite radio as a “perk”.
he has email, I’m sure he can have the Beeb on in the background… satellite radio doesn’t make sense, though, because then he wouldn’t have to be somewhere specific to listen
I bet that he’d have a lot of Steampunk friends if he were able to get out of the office more often… They’d be delighted to teach him modern terminology in exchange for learning how to use Victorian-era jargon properly. (Not that I’d be at the head of that line or anything, being a Steampunk myself and all… -_^)
He seems to be more the OTR sort… perhaps Skin Horse tech includes a “pastenna”, or there is simply a channel running OTR. He could listen to WWII Blitz coverage, and pretend he is there… causing the damage! Of course, given his hobby, he could be listening to “Lum and Abner”… plenty of corn there, and there was a storyline with a robot…
What radio stations does Mustachio listen to? I’m not sure what Clear Channel or NPR broadcasts that could qualify as “programmes”.
Per hapa he gets BBC radio somehow.

I’m sure it’s the BBC. I definitely see him as a Radio Four listener, particularly The Archers and I’m Sorry I Haven’t a Clue.

Tell Moustachio I hear there are these things called “transistor radios,” which you can pop into a pocket and play wherever you are.
… I don’t think he had pockets even when he had a body?
–Dave, robot fashion is WEIRD
Moustachio would listen to ‘the wireless’ not mere radio.
Well, he’s learning the lingo. Slowly

I am eagerly waiting to see what sort of destruction Mustachio is capable of releasing. What has he been keeping under his hat?
You’d think between the two of them they could get one good rampage going…

On the contrary, Sweetheart, this is just what you need! A precariously poised card castle that will fall and you don’t even need to watch!
hey, it works in James Bond
‘Programmes’ in italics because he still considers it to be a French loanword?
No, ’cause he’s British and, singular, it’s “programme” there. Besides, it looks like it was shrunk to fit into the cartoon balloon…
Honestly, doesn’t “a tidy, punctual swath of destruction” sound just like Sweetheart’s style? 🙂
He’s probably still upset since he lost a chance to win Car Talk’s last puzzler.
