Claire Connelly was a sociologist studying Necropolis culture as vassal to Emperor Norton, and the Greater North American Gerbil-Man and his plans to sabotage Prop 39. She also did their sysadmin work, but hated to bury the lede.
tl;dr: redhead in pith helmet, last seen yesterday.
Maybe after the Colma gig, she drifted over to JPL to study the lingering sociological after effects of Jack Parsons’ involvement on the staff long after his death, and towed what was left of alt!Sergio along. Or worse maybe she used some of that Parsons’ magic to reconstitute alt!Sergio, then we’re in for a whole lotta trouble.
I was surprised: at cruise speed, the Osprey zips along at 275 MPH, it can cover DC to Colma in about 10 hours, not counting a pit stop or two. I thought it would take a lot longer than that.
How did they hack Nick? Or at least find the codes to get him to change course? Then again, either Sergio or Artie (whoever is in the iron lung) would have the brains to figure this out, and currently have the time to apply to the solution.
connelly, don’t ring any bells
I’m rereading Narbonic at the moment, so I immediately thought of Jennifer Connelly, but that’s probably a bit of a stretch.
Me too!
You don’t think Alt-Lovelace could hack the Whirligig?

I was trying to figure where we had seen her before.
And this is her C.V. http://skin-horse.com/comic/clock-anyway/

This from a shameless cannibal.
Okay. For the time being, while they are on that Earth. Nick (for me any way) is going to sound like a Dalek!
That’s funny, I went with Cyberman.
Oooo!
you’re right!
Cyberman is so much better!
:>D
More or less accurate even. He’s a Cybercopter!
Whirligig responded to being called “Nick”. It’s not that unadaptive after all.
Ask the helicopter to state and define some swear words—see if the censor is still in place.
And see if it catches some of those Korean swear words Virginia was going to teach Nick

But they left from Boston
I guess a little gas won’t slow Nick down.
When they went to Colma in the main universe, Nick said it would take them five hours. His top speed is clearly significantly higher than a stock Osprey.
Well, Unity can swim, and she’s definitely carnivorous.
Too bad, for local knowledge giggles, that the account wasn’t “29971,connelly” . But that machine was already dated in 1975…
No dates since then, huh?

I guess Unity didn’t bring her zombie axolotl, then.
