Glad to see the site back – even if a little spoty – I really missed the commentary community.

Many thanks for populating the ‘missed’ weekend comments – I was surprised but pleased to see SH on GoComics – I prefer your site – but i’ll save it as a backup.

Hope all is well beyond the server world.

    It is a live! Joy-joy-joy!

Also, Sergio. We wuv you, Sergio.

(And Nick, too. You just didn’t even think of using Google Translate or something, did you, Nick?)

Using Google Translate is likely to order them to pee on the zeppelin, instead of sit still. In my day job, I just had to show someone that their pronunciations couldn’t be trusted, either.

Are these in order? This one doesn’t quite seem to follow from the previous one (which features a dark corridor, but no mid-leap dog).

I had the same thought — this seems like it should follow the one where Virginia’s getting attacked by a dog.

And good to have the site back!

well, the dogs seems to be hearing to setzen as well as to sitz/platz, and “pfui” instead of “aus” works fine, too . but who ushered the orders?

I think it’s Sergio, who must be a polyglot as well as a polymath, which is why he says “And you don’t?” immediately after.

She’s a biochemist – it would make sense that she understands German. (When I was in school Technical German was a requirement for any of the hard sciences, from Physics to Engineering to Chemistry.
