Going to be a long walk to Kansas. 🙂
Just click your paws together three times…
There’s a human-sized pieces of biomass right there!
Being a small g god doesn’t mean you’re not deluded. Loki, Ares, Coyote…you can be a god and still screw up pretty badly.
The more immortal you are, the more things you can screw up and live.
True, but that also means you can survive millennia tied down with a giant serpent dripping corrosive poison on your face.
I don’t see that as a particularly good thing.
What’s the difference between a small-g god and a superhero / supervillain?
Immortality? Having parents that are gods or being born from seafoam, someone’s forehead, etc?
I love it when a plot comes together.
Yes, Colonel. Yes, indeed.
Kudos to thedoctor56 for calling it!
I could’ve sworn I typed thedoctor55…
H. T.’s biomass in confusion. He needs an organic infusion. He’s headed for Kansas to see what his chance is to work with his own self-delusions.
I’m confused. If biomass is the goal then the optimum route is to go southeast and then north along the coast, not west. The further west you go the lower the total biomass due to lack of people and rainfall. Past Chicago pickin’s get pretty slim.
” sapient life”
Maybe they think the chances of volunteers is better there?
All he really needs to do is to go just beyond the area that’s already been consumed. It isn’t as complicated as anyone is trying to make it.
If they are outside of Pittsburgh, wouldn’t Canada be closer?
Glad to see that being absorbed into a collective plant monster really hasn’t diminished H.T.s ego at all.
Why should it? H.T. has managed to dominate the Collective.
If the art over the past three days is any indication, H.T. is the only surviving member of the Collective, possibly barring the paranoid doctor.
I have to agree, but am perplexed as to how and what happened?
Same here. I guess H.T. reflexively absorbed the entire biomass into himself to get the energy to contain the explosion? Idk
Is that kind of the corollary to “Even paranoids have enemies”?
“Watch the skies, everywhere! Keep looking. Keep watching the skies!”
“Salvation won’t come … from us.” (blinks) “Salvation … from us.” (blinks) (blinks) Understood.
