Honestly, I think it’s more of a focus issue. Tip can be pretty quick on the uptake, but only when he’s actually focused on the other person or situation at hand. When he’s focused inward like this, he becomes very hard to deal with.
As for Sweetheart, I’ve heard that bidets are good listeners.
Okay, so it was a personal problem instead of contradicting H. T.
Your personal skills? Pretty typical for a psychologist.
Hey!! That’s not…wait… Fair point.

Is it just me or is both of them as bad as the other?
Yup. It’s not just you.
Well, Tip has never exactly been a good listener http://skin-horse.com/comic/test-a/
True enough–a fact he’s shown us more than once.
Psychiatrists / psychologists think mental problems are for everyone but themselves…
That’s why they’re supposed to regularly see one of their colleagues…
As Samuel Goldwyn said, “Anybody who sees a psychiatrist ought to have his head examined.”
Welp, at least they are ahead on that front, I guess.
I thought that’s why they went into the profession; because they have mental problems themselves, or someone close has them.
Physician, analyze thyself?
Or would he be too busy listening to himself to listen to himself if he tried it?
Right now, Tip’s listening skills…are in the toilet.
Better that than gone to the dogs?
