That final panel makes me wonder if Moustachio has succeeded.

Huh, you’re right. It looks like Hullcrusher is coming down.

Agreed. That primary programming really kicked in there. Hopefully Hullcrusher was just a small part of the complex and Ramshambler/Hittie can now search the rest for Sweetheart.

ah, we’ve already established they’re indestructable. Moustachio by cartoon physics and Hitty by… um… i guess the materials mad scientists alone have access to

Moustachio was windup-clockwork powered, but since Tigerlily freed him from The Man’s shackles and gave him spiderlegs and an eight-track mind, I don’t know.

Tigerlily is primarily clockwork-oriented herself, though, right?

From “You’ve Got a Friend.” Various versions. Try James Taylor or Carole King.

When you’re trapped in combat, and your brother keeps you in.
It looks, whoa, black and without light.
Hymns and slams upon that wall, Ramshambler will be there,
To rampage and to pound and break and smite.

He’ll just chime on that frame,
And you know, he’s programmed to slam.
He’ll be singing right down to the end.
    Buildings, malls, Hullcrusher Prime,
Give him just a little more time,
And he’ll do it, yeah, yeah…
    He’ll save a friend.

If the zone of combat should come down to just your three
And you tell yourself a story of bitter woe.
Put yourselves together, and call “Jerusalem.”
Soon he’ll be knocking upon that door.

He’ll just chime on that frame,
And you know, he’s programmed to slam.
He’ll be singing right down to the end.
    Buildings, malls, Hullcrusher Prime,
Give him just a little more time,
And he’ll do it, yeah, yeah…
    He’ll save a friend.

Hey, ain’t it good to know that he’ll save a friend?
    Robots can be so cruel.
They’ll beat you and defeat you.
They’ll keep you out of heaven if you let them,
    But don’t you let them.

He’ll just chime on that frame,
And you know, he’s programmed to slam.
He’ll be singing right down to the end.
    Buildings, malls, Hullcrusher Prime,
Give him just a little more time,
And he’ll do it, yeah, yeah…
    He’ll save a friend.

Brevity is important when your programming is on wax cylinders.

I like the idea that he’s inexplicably good at destroying buildings because that’s what his Mad Scientist creator intended him for. That there’s no way the buildings he attacks should come down that easily, but they do anyway.
