I’ll have to get to that some time when I have more leisure time—maybe when I retire. But I sure liked the books. Laughed out loud, figured out a few references I didn’t get, enjoyed running into a few other characters that have popped up here. Only thing is, Artie Narbon seemed different, somehow, for most of the book; I couldn’t quite put my finger on it.
If she’s anything like our Claire Connelly, http://skin-horse.com/comic/clock-anyway/, she has deeply embedded herself as a henchperson and sysadmin to conduct her sociological research.
Seeing how her last line is “Sometimes I have some questions”, it makes sense if she’s talking about herself (and therefore making a play on the earlier “unquestioning”).
Nice, and rare, full-face Unity there… Love to see one of her no-doubt numerous booking photos…
Numerous booking photos would require the existence of numerous police forces capable of apprehending Unity…
Or, even more wildly unlikely, one police force capable of apprehending Unity MULTIPLE TIMES.
Sounds like a job for Robocop if you ask me.
Sounds like a job for ARCHON from GRRL Power
Robocop could still help.
You’re assuming she minds being apprehended… how can she trash a jail, escaping, if she’s not arrested first?
To us, a drastic event. To her, Six Flags Over the Detention Center…
Do the police take both left and right profiles? ‘Cos I imagine that could be a career-ending “mistake” for the arresting officer.
Should be OK if they aren’t the only two shots.
She a member of the Henchman’s Union? (Yes, I finally read my Narbonic books.)
!!!!!
Even if you have the books – the annotated online version is awesome for the commentary.

Artie is considerably younger in Narbonic than he is in Skin Horse.
Ah!
Wait, is “unquestioning henchperson” her title, or what she’s calling our heroes?
