NT-Unity may well have planned for this and somehow encoded a secondary message into the note. She knew about the hallucinations when she wrote it.

Whoa! GODOT can mess with your neural nets so you can’t see what’s really written on a piece of paper! That’s HAL-level creepy. But then, can’t GODOT also change all the files that Sweetheart and Tip are reviewing, so they can’t find out anything about herhimit?

Try to catch me, you will find
I am messing with your mind
You’ll see what I want to show
      You’re a plaything to GODOT

Is that Peter Schilling’s Let’s Play USA?

I’m guessing the melody is another one of those piano theme-and-variations that Mozart wrote when he was a fetus (like “Ah, vous dirais-je Maman,” which became “Twinkle, twinkle little star” and “The alphabet song”).
I figured everybody learned this ditty in grade school:
Try to catch me, you will see
            I will always faster be
Now I’ll tell the reason why
I’m the North Wind of the sky

Oh, now I remember: it was one of the first melodies I learned as a little kid taking piano lessons. So, yeah, it was probably Mozart.

There seems to be reason to believe this is beyond GODOT’s abilities. His ability to match fonts and writing style would appear limited – at least since ‘I SEE YOU DOG’ we’ve only seen him use one font; I can’t remember how the toast and moon messages looked at this point…

He may also be limited in message length. Certainly the smarter course here would have been to allow UNITY to deliver the message and fill it with misinformation if that had been within his abilities.

        …..limited in message length…..

Oh HELL. Twitter’s finally gone AI! It was bound to happen eventually, I guess… **shudders**

You can allay your fears. If it was an evolved twitter, it would look more like this:

@Unity4TW DO eat this note #YUMMYPAPERPASTRIES

Well, GODOT *did* change the file/book Sweatheart was reading.

      My question is this:
It’s a given that GODOT is messing with UNITY’s visual cortex; but did s/he mess with it just now so Unity wouldn’t read what she wrote to herself, or did s/he mess with it WHILE UNITY was writing it so she actually wrote a yummy note?

Well damn. Unless Smart-Unity laced it with neural tissue in preparation for this.

Eat me ’cause I’m yummy, zombie!
    Eat me while I’m fresh!
When you are a dummy, honey,
    Mental gears won’t mesh!

    Neural tricks GODOT is doing,
So quit reading and start chewing!
Yes, you should eat me ’cause I’m yummy, zombie!
    Eat me while I’m fresh!

    Someone’s read Brandon Sanderson.

(And that someone is not UNITY. After all, there’s no goblin luurrrrve.)

The varied fonts remind me of Nick’s language issues. So maybe he’s been swearing the whole time, but we haven’t been able to read it because GODOT’s been using its ability on the comic.

Nope, GODOT doesn’t mess with neural anything. It’s psychic paper!
