The Narbonic story finished partway through the Director’s Cut reruns, and then restarted, and didn’t finish the second run-through before the Director’s Cut ended. I’ve been thinking I should go through and revise my compilation so the complete run-through is the one with the punctuation and stuff, but haven’t because of the lazy.
Well, she’s got two lovers and she’s in a spot,

Well, you know, a killbot that wears a hat,
Says “Destroy!” but he’s quite a boy.
(If he is one, really, really is one, oh, I just don’t know.)

Bubbles, so, you might think Unity,
Whenever she finds it out, she’ll go on some sick spree.
‘Cause she might just love two, but it’s really not just two,

A faux baddie, she also had him, laddie…

The final panel has the best bits of robotic body language I’ve ever seen. Between the expression on the face of Bubbles and the “downcast look” on #2, created by changing the angle of the arms and the slightly downward positioning of the head, this is great stuff.
My comment is down here because that’s as far away from the1trueian as I could make it. Shipping yourself and Unity is a bit like shipping your home town and Godzilla. It might be amusing for other people to watch, but it would be a bad idea for them to stand close enough to get splattered.
Since I still ship Sweetheart and Unity, I gotta say: go for it, Bubbles. #2 is the one for you.

So I guess the measure of sentience is whether you can learn the word “No.”
Sentience begins when a life form first asks “What’s in it for me?” “No” is just a symptom.
Uncomplicated happy ending? In the Narbonic/Skin Horse universe, nothing is ever uncomplicated.

I hate to admit to being slightly jealous that a comely water cooler has a more robust social life than me.

So does the other killbot mean that #2 should destroy Bubbles, or destroy her? These killbots can be destroyingly hard to destroy.
