I authentically believe this is the true method used by most companies to post jobs before grudgingly listing them to the public. I am willing to be wrong about this though.

      I’m afraid you are not.

You are not wrong. I don’t know how it is for other industries or countries but in Australia that’s not supposed to be allowed for teachers so what they do is that they place a open ad for candidates and conduct interviews, and yes, the teacher in question interviews as well and surprise, surprise, they get the job.

He’s looking at the HR person! Wear your UV glasses Tip!

Oh, yes, I see what you mean. It looks like Tip may be wearing them in the first frame, but is clearly not wearing them in any of the other frames. He probably was unable to keep them on his body, because they were not stylish enough.

Pro tip: You need a very special kind of glass to allow UV through, so normal glasses might provide sufficient protection.

… if only Tip’s glasses were in front of his eyes all the time, that is …

It’s okay, it still counts as not looking as long as the *readers* don’t see his face.

The room was pink and white yesterday, but it’s not now. I think the idea is that Tip’s wearing the glasses throughout, and the vacancies board only exists in VR.

If it is VR, then the camera angle doesn’t make much sense. It does mean we get to see Tip in every single panel, though, so it balances out.

While anything is possible in this universe, this does appear to be a completely different room. Sort of how the Cryptid Studies office had the whole “Temple of Doom” motif going on.

The pink and white room was just the HR outer office. This is the deep catacombs beyond that.

What kind of background music does HR pipe into the cave? Handel? Bach? Bonzo Dog Doo-Dah Band?

The announcement “BEHOLD!” was obviously punctuated by the opening phrases of J.S. “Bach’s Toccata and Fugue in D Minor”.

I would go with Shostakovich. Fitting theme music for such a dark and gloomy place.

“O Fortuna” is always a good choice for suspenseful situations.

That tune is such a cliché that I bet people could make money just creating the *mood* it elicits.

I might go with “A Fanfare For The Common Man”

I “heard” the opening of “Metropolis”- the bright part was when Tip saw the board!

        Huppertz (?). Never seen Moroder’s.

Not properly posted. They should be on eight-and-a-half-by-eleven paper, posted on a clipboard, and it’s too far away to see if they’re properly formatted.

There was a “Beware of the Leopard” sign in the basement of Annex One. Probably for the same postings.

Given all of the other lifeforms there, it would not surprise me to find out that an actual leopard was or had been in that basement.

His rise through the ranks is legit. A time crunch he has, just a bit. This H. R. guy’s boasting of in-house job postings he’s forced by the rules to admit.

Still not quite up to Ronny Reagan’s “The most terrifying words in the English language are: I’m from the government and I’m here to help.”

Me, too! My favorite was in Monty Python’s TMOL when Mr. Death says, ominously, “Behold… Paradise”! Which turned out to be a forgettable off-off-Vegas lounge act, but with unforgettable angels!

OK, Tip isn’t cosplaying as Keith Partridge 😉

But Mr. Bryant is confirmed to be generating his own UV nimbus. I thought at first it might just be a tanning perk at his desk.

Well, his hair does seem to be the same color as Kate-or-Panoptica-from-AG-I’s hair. But with more glow.
