I love how obliviously happy she is

Punch it, then eat it. Tenderizing always pays.

Exactly! Why doesn’t she just automatically do both? I mean really… we’re talking about Unity here!

She’s making an effort to include Sweetheart in her favorite activities?

Or maybe she’s just trying to get Sweetheart alone.

Marinades are also a good option to supplement the tenderizing from the punching, plus adding another layer of flavor. And they normally don’t take as long as a brine, assuming a mass greater than that of a turkey, which I don’t think Unity would ask permission to punch.

So it’s a Canadian thing, then? Whatever happened to that “what can I do for you?” Canadian attitude?

      It’s a conflict.

They are Canadian, which is why they gave Tip the serum instead of simply devouring him before he could transform into a werewolf. (Using the serum to save Alaska doesn’t count, since that only happened because Were-Tip seduced all the females in the pack).

However, they are also a pack of (semi-)wild dogs, so their first instinct is self-preservation. And of course, there’s also the little matter of having been bred to conquer America.

“Is she house-broken? Or does she just break houses?”

“Yes and yes. Ain’t she grand?”

NO SWEETHEART! BAD DOG! Stop being insufferable about your new relationship. Don’t be that person.

Wait, don’t dogs do that too? Or are they objecting to the punching because “opposable thumbs”?

I feel like I’m missing something. Why do they need to take in the people from Paradise in the first place? The blizzard Sweetheart mentioned? Surely Alaskans are accustomed to weathering blizzards by themselves.
