So…strips happening, but still working on site issues. Sorry about this, folks.

Oh, mad science powered servers… how your random malfunctions (and occasional threats of ending the world) entertain us all. Still, stop giving Shaenon and Jeff such a hard time, and I’m sure they’ll introduce you to a nice rogue AI so you’re not so lonely.

Wait, I’m *not* the only one here who uses mad-science powered servers for their sites, right? That’s not just me?

That depends…does your definition include cloud storage designed by a company originally famous for adhesive tape?

Mind boggling at this slightly: “ScotchCloud”? “SeloCloud”?

Think parent company rather than brand name, but yes…although at least the data sticks in place. 🙂

Yay! I was starting to wonder of you were too spooked to dare updating.

Your site admin wouldn’t happen to be named Dave Davenport, by any chance?

        Dave would get crap DONE.

Dave would have the site doing horrible things to us. I vividly recall his brief stint of non-evil employment. I happen to have re-read that volume two nights ago….

Oh, yeah, that too. All I could think of was a stream of angels coming out of an unplugged server and trying to lay their eggs in Jeff.

Yes, but what part of “get crap DONE” weren’t you listening to? Just because it isn’t things that man was MEANT to want done…

Tetra – I’m fairly sure it was the UNPLUGGED microwave. The server I’d be more likely to exepct to be infected with the Sentient Meme.

What kind of introduction does Mendoza need here? Has he forgotten whose gun he’s carrying or the fact that he’s been acquainted with Tip since everyone first got on the train?

Thinking back thru – there are introductions and introductions. I believe names were exchanged, not the “get to know a bit about you” level of introductions.

So either this is pre-temporal trip Sergio (in the reality version in which he ended) or he made terms with his new reality 😛

A lone ship sets sail into the night, it’s captain whispering quietly as they embark on their perilous journey.

    “This is happening…”

It totally is! And we can safely say that Tip has chemistry with everyone (except Violet’s pilot.)

I started an archive binge last night, and notice almost all the comments are gone on the older strips….I just finished the Alaska Werewolves arc.

that’s because most of the older strips were on another site (Webcomics Nation, I think?). The original comments are there, as is (sadly) a metric shitload of spam.

Alas, Webcomics Nation didn’t survive the untimely death of its creator https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Webcomics_Nation

Nick put the aggressive in passive-aggressive. Like with a shotgun or something.

        2013-01-01 is http://skin-horse.com/comic/relieved-to/
Dr. Lee’s not even in that one.

        Perhaps 2013-01-10?
