    So Bitey’s a narcissist? o_O

It was a mirror dimension; maybe Bitey’s gender was mirrored.

Or, possibly, zombies being physically asexual, they base attraction on other aspects.

Zombies, even Zombie hats, are almost always attracted by brains more than looks.

So that’s why Bitey was so depressed! Lack of a significant other other.

“Few in 2018 would have foreseen Skin Horse eventually becoming a comedy set in a deep underground bunker, the cast humorously bickering over whose fault the billions of angry hats ravaging the surface was.”

Didn’t we just go through that with those cute zombie possums?

More of a tribble infestation than a zombie apocalypse, really, as long as you don’t attack them.

Since Shannon and Jeff are the local gods, are the inmates taking over?

Good grief, I really am prescient. Bitey and Bitey 2 mate, make dozens of little Biteys, and they spread the Cypress’ seeds over the non-burnt area of Carbondale, resurrecting the hivemind. The new Biteys make even futher Biteys, and eventually Cypress graduates from hivemind to statewide genus loci.

How does predicting that which has not yet happened make you prescient? If it indeed comes to pass, then you might be able to make an argument for being prescient… or at least for having a similar mentality to Shaenon and Jeff… which is kinda disturbing.
