Alice is a .38 revolver, IIRC, so Tip would say “speed loaders” or “ammo”. Clips(moon clips) are a totally different thing that generally would require a modified gun. (Also, Tip would likely only carry a limited number of speed loaders due to space, the rest would be carried as essentially boxed rounds, they take longer to reload but you can carry a LOT more)
Also, dude, this is why you carry a purse. It should not be possible for you to run out of ammo before you run out of enemies.
Now, when Tip says he’ll cover me, what does he need?
More ammo! More ammo! More ammo!
When the team’s up against a carnivorous weed,
More ammo! More ammo! More ammo!
When we’re down in the sewer, where ev’rything rots,
And you’re mowing down foes with a volley of shots,
Just to be on the safe side, you’d better bring lots
Of ammo! More ammo! More ammo!
Now, from counting the sonic concussions of Tip’s … Ka-blammo! Ka-blammo! Ka-blammo!
I am certain that he has run out of spare clips,
I am, oh, I am, oh, I am, oh!
He has none in his pockets, the left or the right,
And no more in the places that rarely see light …
But where can he go shopping, at this time of night,
For ammo? More ammo? More ammo!
It can’t possibly be worse than viewing This Old House or listening to Car Talk.
Also, I don’t even want to know where Tip carries his spare clips.
In the same place that any lady would carry spare clips. In his bra. He’s gotta pad it somehow.
That can’t possibly be comfortable
Two speed loaders? Slightly.
I prefer a back rack to a rack rack.

That assumes your enemies stay down after being shot.
Nah, that bit was about hair clips, which Tip uses to hide the speed loaders in his hair.
so is he out of ammo, or isn’t he?
(i suspect not….)
This is Smart UNITY. She knows all…

Actually, I laughed harder when, in my head, I replaced “ammo” with “Dakka“.
Nicely done!
I had to look up the song, but I now note that “Is there not beauty even in bloodthirstiness?” should really be Mell or Unity’s catchphrase.
