Also “deathtrap” and “Infirmary” are mutually exclusive.

Or if it’s where you repair broken deathtraps.

Or depending on the safety and maintenance of the hospital building.

I think it’s an infirmary for treating the victims of deathtraps

I think Shaenon’s process is she sits down, thinking of what most people would think of as mutually exclusive words, where one word relates to death and mutilation, writes them down, and builds plots around them.

Probably with a box of wine.

It’s not so much that they’re mutually exclusive that they’re not needed if the deathtrap is properly designed and triggered. It’s only for the amateur or inept deathtraps that the infirmaries are actually useful.

A deathtrap infirmary is more for your Batman TV show “deathtrap”, and doesn’t need to be much more than a fresh, dry costume and maybe a bandage.

“Feet” is a perfectly fine measure of blood pressure, right? (And “square feet” would be the corresponding blood volume!)

I’d take offense if I didn’t know a few players that would actually think like that.

On the other hand, “murder hospital” is a tautology.

So, I realize he can’t bring it up in front of his team, but there’s a very good chance the people at the other end of Tip’s earpiece were not blacked out for those 16 hours.
