I’m kind of surprised. Bubbles wouldn’t let Unity hurt her crew, and Unity won’t go after her team….either that’s jam or Unity found SOMEONE available to not sticky red things.
Rather than the Ship’s crew or superhero goo, it might also be (depending on how effective Cinderblock, the ships guns or Nicks rotors were) part of the creature. It would be fully in character for Unity to spy a tissue sample and decide ‘lunch/greeting card sentiment’.
In a perfect world, though, she’d look at a big tentacle section and think “makeover’.
By this time, I think “Biscuit” is just an endearment she uses for him. Like calling Sweetheart “Babe”. I mean, look at panel 2 — she obviously knows his name is Nick.
That’s why she still uses it occasionally with affection. This certainly isn’t the first time she’s called him Biscuit since then. Even Sweetheart and Gavotte have called him Biscuit since then (and Gavotte wasn’t even at Groom Lake with them). Unity learned a long time ago that his name is Nick, but every once in a while, she likes to go informal.
I don’t think we can rule out the possibility that at least part of why she calls him Biscuit is that she wants to eat him.
He is a brain in a jar, after all. And knowing UNITY, she’d eat the jar along with the brain – and half the aiframe and fuselage as well, for good measure.
So if there’s been time enough for Nick to get semi-repaired there’s been time enough for Tip to be with either Goose Girl or Cinderblock – I’m idly curious about which one. (Though it seems like there would have been a fair amount of background honking if it had been Goose Girl.)
So far, Panoptica has seemed to be pretty much immune to Tip. And Tip, surprisingly, seems to be pretty much unfazed by that. Maybe he’s still trying to take it all in.
If this is U.N.I.T.Y.’s idea of a get-well card, I’d hate to see her give out chocolate-filled hearts on Valentine’s day. Might get a just a little bit messy.
You don’t wanna know what it is inside, Jonah Yu. (Well, *I* don’t wanna know, either.)
I might not want to know, but I still got a pretty good idea.
When UNITY makes a valentine, it’s a real valentine.
Complete with massacre?
I’m kind of surprised. Bubbles wouldn’t let Unity hurt her crew, and Unity won’t go after her team….either that’s jam or Unity found SOMEONE available to not sticky red things.
….provide sticky things. My phone is WEIRD.
@Marisa, that still leaves all the AG-I yahoos. They’re not Bubbles’ people, and they’re not Unity’s people, so they’re fair game.
50% chance it’s jam.
It’s that *other* 50% that’s worrisome…
People jam
I doubt it’s anything unusual. Just the same red sticky stuff inside everyone else.
Unity has the same red sticky stuff inside like everyone else? Would Unity sacrifice part of herself for the card?
No, Unity’s sticky stuff would be black, because her “blood” is black.
Rather than the Ship’s crew or superhero goo, it might also be (depending on how effective Cinderblock, the ships guns or Nicks rotors were) part of the creature. It would be fully in character for Unity to spy a tissue sample and decide ‘lunch/greeting card sentiment’.

No, that would be “Tip.”
She made it with heart!
Yes, but whose?
If we’re lucky, just one of her spares. If not, well… do geese have a healing factor?
Maybe they’re like the mutants in Endtown, and developed super-accelerated healing along with their mutations.
Why is no-one else commenting on the fact that the card reads “Biscuit”?
Well, it was the second thing I thought of, and I’d already posted the first thing.
By this time, I think “Biscuit” is just an endearment she uses for him. Like calling Sweetheart “Babe”. I mean, look at panel 2 — she obviously knows his name is Nick.
When Unity first showed Nick to Sweetheart, she said she was going to name him ‘Biscuit’.
That’s why she still uses it occasionally with affection. This certainly isn’t the first time she’s called him Biscuit since then. Even Sweetheart and Gavotte have called him Biscuit since then (and Gavotte wasn’t even at Groom Lake with them). True enough, but then again, she kinda wants to eat everybody.
Re: awgiedawgie: “Unity Eat World!”
We see Biscuit, but it’s not fascinating enough to carry us away from the red sticky stuff.
So if there’s been time enough for Nick to get semi-repaired there’s been time enough for Tip to be with either Goose Girl or Cinderblock – I’m idly curious about which one. (Though it seems like there would have been a fair amount of background honking if it had been Goose Girl.)
Shelby is there—don’t know whether that inhibits Tip or not, but if it does, maybe Shelby does have another superpower…
I can definitely see Tip with Shelby before either of the other two. They’d be a pretty hot couple.
Can we really rule out “Both” as the answer? o_O
Right now I’m flipping mental coins as to whether Panoptica’s powers would help make her resistant or immune or merely more susceptible. ^_~
So far, Panoptica has seemed to be pretty much immune to Tip. And Tip, surprisingly, seems to be pretty much unfazed by that. Maybe he’s still trying to take it all in.
Is this a Llamas with hats reference?
Biscuit is Unity’s name for Nick. Comes from an early strip,

Waaaaaay back when she first met him.
You do realize this was all discussed already above, right?
If this is U.N.I.T.Y.’s idea of a get-well card, I’d hate to see her give out chocolate-filled hearts on Valentine’s day. Might get a just a little bit messy.
Now I have a very vivid — if rather gruesome — mental picture.
And she would probably be completely mystified as to why everyone was appalled by their Valentine’s “candy.”
