(Not to be confused with the pretty-good seal of the Shadow Government, who tries his best in the admin pool, but isn’t great at typing since his creator didn’t see fit to adjust his flippers.)
Maybe it’s a shadow key, like those found in Resident Evil 7. Entrusted to the Cypress to guard, and opens a vault with madtech of undreamed of potential!! Or I could be writing fanfics in my head again.
So this is the search for the Maltese Raven then? o_O
“If a man loses a swamp, he can always get another… but there is only one Maltese Raven.”
So… Tip is Bogart?
Well, he has a stylish suit and says “Sweetheart” a lot. Maybe a Bogey-analog?
Fauxgie
The Great Seal of the Swamp?
Or maybe the lesser seal of the U.S.A.?
The Great Seal of the Shadow Government.

The Spirit of America? If Billy and Wyatt had only thought to look in Illinois sewers rather than New Orleans.
Why Illinois? They’re in Pennsylvania.
Oops, wrong Carbondale.
‘Sokay… I wasn’t sure myself which Carbondale A-Sig had been in until Unity clarified it a couple weeks ago.
It was established in its first mention to be less than half a day’s drive from Philadelphia, so it had to be the one in Pennsylvania.
(stupid iPad replaced my quotes with “smart quotes” so the above link is messed up.)
It’s the shadow it casts. And they are part of the Shadow Government, aren’t they?

I’m not gonna have to write another hypothetical needlessly elaborate point-and-click puzzle, am I?
Just what we need, another Solve the Soup Cans puzzle.
I do find it encouraging that the raven is facing towards the olive branch rather than towards the arrows.
A few arrows you have no way to fire, or a handy garotte. It’s Just as well that a bird can’t use either of them, dead or alive.
I always knew those crows were up to something. Cawing, chasing off pigeons, planting fake bombs in convention centers…
Phil is a mynah, not a crow–although that’s not to say that crows aren’t also capable of planting fake bombs in convention centers.
Oh Cypress, are you ““still humping the American Dream”?
Does that make it a storm crow?
So, does this mean the government wants to drain the swamp?
I guess President Shovelhead kept his campaign promise after all
