Amnesia S’mores are great for those experiences you’d rather not remember, I just forget which ones those were.

Are you sure they’re not for _curing_ amnesia?

If not, maybe they already gave Tip some amnesia s’mores?

It’s an unfortunate facet of the English language that “Amnesia s’more” could mean so many different things, none of which can be determined without context:

        A s’more that induces amnesia
        A s’more that cures amnesia
A s’more that is in celebration / recognition of amnesia
A s’more that is a product of amnesia
A s’more that is suffering from amnesia
And probably a few more that I’m forgett- UH OH

And now he is thrown back into the one mental STATE which seems to be ‘himself’.
Against ALL those other stares, ie, amnesiac….

And now: did he get out of the collar or not? Eris is a sneaky name, anyway.

He still has it in the last two panels.

Ooh, amnesia s’mores! I’ve never had one of those!

    …probably.

Clearly, Tip was abducted by inhabitants of planet Lovetron!

Maybe he forgot how skilled he can be? Or maybe she did?

Well, if Tip was gone for sixteen hours, why didn’t somebody set off his explosive collar?

Possibility 1: They tried. Why it didn’t work is something that will make sense once we learn where he actually was.

Possibility 2: Activating the collar would be a sensible response and, well, these guys, right?

I had Ira more in mind, ’cause I figured he was monitoring their progress. Somehow.

This is disturbing. Usually when Tip loses sixteen hours, there is tequila involved, usually in Las Vegas or Tijuana. Or am I projecting?

And then, of course, there was New Orleans, where the whole team lost two weeks.

Probably provided along with his clothing. As a Captain, he knows the importance of wearing a timepiece in the field.

So, before he was spirited away, did he and Eris do the nasty and he just doesn’t remember? One would think they would have been more worried if he disappeared right in the middle of discussing logistics with her.

OTOH, if this is riffing on Annihilation, he might be Tip 2 and his memories just weren’t copied past that point.

“That depends. Do I like them?”

“You said you did, so I have no idea. By the way, do you prefer happiness with no memory of it, or the memory of happiness you never experienced?”

    “Wait, why are you asking?”

“Asking what? Anyhow, I think you should decline. Any more and you’ll ruin your figure.”

He was communing with the Cypress for most of that and either he or she blocked his memory of it happening. He will be guided by his repressed memories, but the block will not come off completely until it is dramatically relevant.
