I’m waiting for a tone sequence of G4-A4-F4-F3-C4 to come over the loudspeaker and then someone in the background apologizing for their phone going off.
I was sitting in a restaurant, and my phone rang – Bach’s Toccata & Fugue – loud and strong. I thought nothing of it, because that was just my normal ringtone. But everyone was looking around in shock.
Tip turns up ’cause he got a lift. From DC to Kansas was swift. But on-site dry cleaning could not stop his preening. The loud demand gives it short shrift.
Clearly they’re playing B-side of this disk. (sorry)
It took me a moment. XD
Uh-oh.
Remarkable how Tip just takes it all in stride.
He’s come a long way from being afraid of Gavotte because he’s “allergic to her”
I guess he’s learned that the bees will not sting him as long as he makes nice with them.
Get exposed to enough weirdness, you learn to roll with it.
Shouldn’t it be beeing, not being?
You go stand in the corner and think about what you’ve done…
Somehow, I doubt that will help…
Yeah, they’ll just stand in that corner and drone on. 😛
Too bee, or not to bee.
2B OR / NOT 2B that is the equation.
Too bee is to do.
To do is to be.
Doo bee doo bee doo.
Judge Stone is that you? Where’s Mel?
Gavotte’s kind are known by a verb, not a noun. They’re not “bees,” they’re “bee-ing.”
MAGICAL. GIRL. TIP. Kind of inevitable, I guess. **loves it**
Poor Sweetheart’s ears must be ringing now.
At least Unity can replace her ears…
Haven’t seen Mme. Gavotte since she tried to explain to Sweetheart what the now-arrived flying saucer was about. Maybe she, er, bugged out.
[alien mothership appears in sky]
[voice booms out]
TWO… TWO… TWO…TESTING… TWO
And then they break out into “Iron Man” just to use the reverb effect.
Wow, that was loud enough to leave Tip’s hair a mess.
In the last panel, Tips left glove lost all its color
Or looking closer, the cuff on the left glove un-rolled
he prefers “moussed”

Omg if that doesn’t happen in canon I may have to draw it
Awesome suggestion, jdreyfess!
Timing is everything.

Then it hit me… It was October 31st… Halloween.
I was thinking of that too.
Particularly (from this strip) the part where the saucer plays the last two notes at literally glass-shattering volume.
