    What do you mean, “been”?

I just discovered Skin Horse a couple of days ago (followed the link from Monster of the Week) and have binge read it to the exclusion of almost all else since then – it’s okay, having a clean kitchen is overrated anyway.

I’m crushingly disappointed to have caught up… write faster! Write faster than I can read! 😛

Anyway, loving it a lot. You guys are awesome.

Welcome to the cult, Fred. This is where the cool kids hang. Now go read all six years of Narbonic (bonus points if you read the “Director’s Cut”). and then Li’l Mell, which are both part of the same universe as Skin Horse. We’ll still be here when you get back.

Sadly, the Narbonic archives disappeared when WebComicsNation went down. Happily, Shaenon & Co. are working on a new site. Stay tuned.

You could buy the books, if they’re still available.

          Warning: References to TV Tropes
TV Tropes has a link to both the normal Narbonic, well, as close to normal as Narbonic gets, and the Director’s Cut.

Neither of which work, because they’re both based on WebcomicsNation. I know, I’ve tried.

Yes, Fred, welcome! And actually you may want to read regular Narbonic first and then re-read it in the Director’s Cut, if and when such options become available to you.

This will serve two purposes. First, it’s a prime excuse (as if you need one) to read Narbonic more than once. Second, if memory serves, quite a few of the Director’s Cut notes contain spoilers.

I’ll hit Li’l Mell when I get back next week (going roadtripping, apparently) and I guess I’ll just have to wait for Narbonic! Whether it winds up online again or I get my partner hooked so we can buy the books… one way or another!

Sadly, the books, even the Perfect Collection, lack quite a few of the Sunday strips and New Year’s strips.

Welcome, Fred! Sadly, fast as we may write, you only get one strip a day from here on in. But thank you so much for making the archive trawl, and hope to keep entertaining you! 😀

To be fair Cyprus Prime doesn’t seem particularly torpid either

Or should that be “the Alpha Cyprus”? “Cyprus Zero”? “The Proto-Cyprus”?

        ∫(Cyprus)’ / d(Cyprus)

I believe the correct form of the name is “Cyprimus Prime.”

Actually, ‘prime’ doesn’t mean original, when it comes to designations like that. Prime means ‘first’, as in the first variant off the original. But it gets misused so, so often, most people who aren’t math geeks don’t know that, so….

Wouldn’t “unas” be the first ones?

“In the parallel universe, We don’t get her. I need you to go there and–”
“Y’mean we accually succeed at that mission? We rock!”

I’m thinking this one is Mother Cypress from the “other” universe, and she’s mad about Skin Horse killing her daughter. (By the way, why are so many people spelling it “Cyprus” this morning?)

The UN and EU can’t seem to solve the Cyprus problem. Might as well let UNITY have a go at it.

By the way, I got my copy of “Skin Horse Volume Five” yesterday—’cause I’ve spent the last couple of months trying to remember whether I’d kicked in anything in the Kickstarter or not. Didn’t go through my notes and printouts, didn’t think of it away from my computer…just thought about it when I saw it here. My memory and energy have been focused somewhat on my own creative work of late…I keep missing key details of a lot of things I’ve read…besides, ever since this shift in my working hours I’ve been too tired for words…well, some words…

If she’s murderous now while in torpor, wait until they wake her up and she sees Skin Horse standing there. Considering what happened after she saw them last, she might still have a few issues.
