Maybe he saw her with the wallet and it registered, and then she ate the wallet and his brain said, “No, back up, that definitely didn’t happen” and forgot she had it in the first place.

True story: I had a dream last night that for some reason I was temporarily inhabiting a female body and one of my male friends, even though he knew full well it was me and I wasn’t particularly keen on the idea, kept trying to … have relations with me.
