Off topic, flipping through the archives, I notice I missed the strip where they say it’s Sergio. Alt-Sergio becomes paralyzed AND super-smart AND Alt-Sergio has a thing for Sergio AND wants to join the Biomass? Not buying it. I think Sergio was working with something else that lacked a proper body, possibly something whose sentience was not even recognized, and Sergio really did suffer an accident, possibly involving Thing.

It kind of makes chick Tip’s initial reaction to Sweetheart and Unity a little weird. (She thought Unity and Sweetheart were calling to her but did seem to notice that Sweetheart was no longer prez and Unity was debiomassed.)
Not really. She doesn’t really react to them at all beyond “I’m over here” when she hears someone calling her name. She’s immediately distracted by No-Boob-Tip and once they’re done with that it’s totally understood that they are from a different universe.

On the gripping hand, Artie having the hots for Sergio is completely reasonable. Alt!Artie might have been desperate after Alt!Sergio got sliced up…and love makes even the best do evil, stupid things.
So she does care about sweetheart, but is dude Tip going to be too big of a distraction?
