Big Monster!
Shaenon: Thumbnails for a story in the next Couscous Collective anthology, MONSTERS. I’ll be drawing two stories for the anthology: a Skin Horse story written by Jeff and this story written by my seven-year-old cousin.
Channing: Man, I am so gonna have a hard time writing anything better than this, because this is pretty great.
Wait, he was going to school? Then shouldn’t he have known how to write? Did he he have a disability? Maybe he could have made cards without words and just pictures while drawing something on each card to remind him of who each card is for.
That might not be a chalkboard behind the winged guy, it could be a window
…Is it possible to get all the Shaenon Garrity stories from the various Collective Anthologies in one volume? Because I’d be pretty interested in that.
If the story ended here, i would already be happy with it. Congratulations Maura!
The problem with using *both* sides of the paper, is you only have half as much to sell or give away… or put in a museum, like Dodgson’s original “Alice”!
And I also love the idea of collecting as much scattered Shaenon Garrity work into volumes, too…
And it’s clever of you to have a new scriptwriter warming up, too! You never know…
You can use both sides of the paper if you hang them up in museums with see-through walls.
Well, there’s those store-bought kind…

Bad feelings!
Here’s a tale, a tale of a soul so black …
A soul named Jack!
Once he had feelings!
Then a most … unfortunate day he had,
That turned him bad!
You’ll turn pale as the tale here is told,
That’s composed by a seven-year-old!
Book of MONSTERS from Couscous Collective …
Selling stuff is their objective!
Bad feelings!
Maura writes, and Shaenon then does her part …
She does the art!
This sketch will be art!
Monster art!
Cartoon art!
THIS IS ART!!
Ah, sublimating his guilt through cruelty. Poignant.
Why am I reminded of Axe Cop?
