July 2013 Wallpaper
Shaenon: I assume it’s obvious that this storyline owes a lot to the work of Mary Blair, one of my all-time favorite artists. This month’s wallpaper is my tribute. Also, I like to draw Baron Mistycorn playing the accordion.

I know that the audience for these Sundays is sometimes more limited than the main strip, but I just wanted to drop a line here while I have the chance to thank all contributors for the overwhelming (and a little humbling) success of the Volume 4 Kickstarter. Thank you all so very much.
I think the response could have been larger – I just recalled there seemed to be a decent comment response to the Monday-Saturday on the GoComics link (which I discovered during the site outages) – Sundays and by default the hotlinks, don’t appear there.
If folks are like me, they have a mon-fri routine of going thru and checking many webcomic. I like to do it at work right after getting any morning issues resolved to get my mind right. And I NEED my mind righted…often.
