A Few More “Branches” Sketches
Shaenon: I dug up some early sketches for “Come Swing Through My Branches,” including my drawings of Venus (or The Bride, as she was usually referred to in the scripts). As it turned out, Human Corpse-Controlling Venus never actually appeared in the strip, which is kind of a shame. I spent some time getting my drawings of zombie plant ladies right.
Channing: In retrospect, probably a weakness of the script. Damnit, I need to think about what’s going to be cool before I go through all the trouble of plotting the story into ironclad paths. Ah, well.
