I initially parsed panel 2 as “Tell my sweetheart, the CO” which I thought was an odd way for Nick to refer to Panopticon, even if he was being sarcastic.
What I wonder is why — if she’s creating a chart to determine who’s in charge — did she create said chart with two separate hierarchies?
So AG-I is still gonna do what they bloody well please because it’s their mission and they hired the ship. Which will leave Skin Horse exactly where they were when they arrived: uninvited guests with no control and no idea what’s going on.
But at least they’ll know who’s the top dog in their clueless little group.
I never thought I’d be mildly uncomfortable with a line drawing of a man in a blazer. It almost seems offensive, on a Victorian level of unacceptable inpropriety, for Tip to be wearing Men’s business attire.
It’s the short hair that throws me. I used to have very long hair myself for many years. I’ve had it cut short like Tip’s for about three years now, and there are still people who don’t recognize me until they’ve done a double-take.
She just created an org chart so classified, nobody has high enough clearance to see it.
Nothing Nick could have said would describe director Sweetheart better than what his adaptive censor filter replaced it with.
Amen.
And hallelujah.
Isn’t success usually accompanied by alarms?
Is… is this whole arc a SH AG-I dog story?
Oh my God. That’s horrible. And awesome.
You have won today’s internet. Use it wisely.
We’re not worthy! We’re not worthy!
If that’s intention then… wow, just wow.
Nasty.
I… have no words.
Random_name, on behalf of the Elders of the Internet, I commend thee.
Oh. My. Dog. You win.
You’d have to be barking mad to come up with a pun that bad, nyao. Then again, around here, the tale keeps dogging the wags.
That’s it folks random_name just won the entire internet…might as well shut it down…
As Unity once said, that is so rad I peed a little. I think I need to lie down…
I stand in awe.
Puns for the Pun god!
Oooh! Someone deserves to take a wow bow!
sorry to kill the mood, foreigner here… I don’t get it…
There was a movie 30-some-odd years ago called “The Shaggy Dog”

Ah, yes. The phrase does predate the movie by about 20 years.
Ok, thanks y’all, I would have read aloud this along the lines of shagaï or shaguan, would I have thought of not reading it Eshatchadjee-Aï…
which is way too far from Satyajit Ray to make any sense to me…
Why worry about trust? Put it into *everyone’s* email. 🙂
Given how weirdly bad Skin Horse are at keeping secrets, considering their job, it’ll probably amount to the same thing.

Looks like there are a few more cards in the org-chart than there are actually personnel aboard ship to fill them. Besides, who got Shelby?
I wonder what that question mark midway up the AG-I chart is about.

Barking Cupcake who gets things done is a very good way to describe her actually.
