In the case of Red Knight’s aberrant skin tone in panel one, I choose to believe that sometimes a coloring glitch is just a coloring glitch instead of something portentous.
If only Nick had a large electromagnet, he could give the Dork Knight a nice ride… I don’t suppose there are any active volcanoes in New Jersey, are there?
Clearly Virginia’s going to have to tranq this bozo.

Regarding survival of the fittest, consider the humble tree sloth.
I, personally, have always wondered how the sloth survived. Seriously, how do they do it?
Aparently you are not the first to wonder: http://www.herebeanswers.com/2009/11/sloth-and-its-survival-in-wild.html
Good to know. I always thought it was because they taste really really bad. Sloth is now a candidate for my next life’s being!
I’ve been reading Bill Nye’s book, and he postulates that rather than “survival of the fittest,” it’s survival of the just good enough.

Survival of whatever can get away with it.
Exceeding good enough is a waste of resources! Down with overachieving!
Economy + Adaptability = Survival

No, but then he could take his lead from a James Bond pun.
No volcanoes, but there are a few junkyards that could deal with that armor.
Hey, in the right combination, allergy meds are stronger than venom!
With a high enough dosage, even allergy meds are lethal.
