… of course it’s more than possible that his filter has no dictionary but merely leeches off Nick’s own guilty knowledge. That would preclude all but the most elaborate attempts to bypass the filter.
Definitely the case, I can’t remember, might be all the way back in “I Believe I Can Fly” Nick proved his filter is intelligent and able to gauge intent. He started using IIRC some word that was not profane but was obviously being implied to be an insult and after about the 4th utterance it start getting censored as well.
Hmm, so many possibilities for Nickdrone. How about “baby butch” with a hint of the femme, like some light makeup? Kinda boring as a makeover, but I think watching Nick play it would be hilarious.
I think that would have to be one of the most unlikely options … but in defense of my suggestion:
(1) I think that is a look the drone-body could do well
(2) it would annoy Nick more than just about any other look
(3) a detailed outfit, drawn for most of a storyline, would give the artist nightmares :-p
or, if they need to infiltrate a mad genius’s confectionery factory, lollygoth?
hmmm … going to talk to sapient robots? Any chance they will mistake the Nick drone for ‘one of us’?
Tip is a master at cross-dressing as it is and really has never crossed the line of what feels “ok” for the victim to wear. That is he’ll probably give nick a hair cut he lie and make him look m,ore like dude.
In this strip about a brain in a tank controlling a robot body via Wi-Fi while bonding with an ex-military transvestite conflict-resolution therapist, the least believable detail is the idea that Nick would roll his pant cuffs.
It makes sense to me. He’s wearing clothes that he borrowed from Chris which are too big for him. Rolling his pant cuffs is for convenience, not fashion. He doesn’t give flatbread what you think about it.
This will end well.
Or at least “Faaaaaabulous”-ly…
I’d like to think that what Nick really said was “yarbles,” but his internal censor has a very extensive dictionary.

Damn, bet me to it. I can definitely see Nick swearing in Burgess-tongue.

Actually the most likely word to use there is the very English word: boll****.
What, we’re not allowed to say “bollocks”? What a pain in the Khyber!
If you see Tip’s smile as a beard and the line dividing his teeth as his mouth, you’ll find it very hard to unsee. Or is that just me?
Just you. I see what you mean, but that perception does not dominate for me.

loligoth?

nick kind of has “hippie baby-dyke” down already, with a hint of frum.
To be fair, Frum should come somewhat naturally to him, even if he isn’t actually Orthodox.

Yeah, but to give someone a haircut implies that you expect their hair will grow back. Which it might not.
Do we even know what tools are required to cut Nick’s “hair”?
This is Nick’s golden opportunity to do some cosplay of his favorite anime, manga, tv show, comic book, etc. character.
And because of what I was reading just before this, I’ve now got this horrible mental image of Zerhakker as Pirogoeth.

Ooooohhhh… brain in a tank… when does Helen get to use the drone? Oops wrong timeline.
Nick’s filter has gradually begun bowlderizing more appropriately – I love it.
Tip knows how to make readers happy.
Using vacation time to visit a amusement park that creeps people out, probably squabbling and cursing all the way there and back?
Sounds pretty standard.
If you can convince Nick it is LARP-ing…….
But is Nick okay with being cross-cast?
