I like how Virginia is apparently considered part of the team now, simply by default since she shows up on missions so often.

    Hey, T-shirts are *important*! ^_^

More seriously, it’s good that Tip is being discreet. That which Ginny doesn’t know is something her patrons are less likely to learn about. 🙂

That’s true you haven’t been there or done that unless you have the T-shirt. Which is why have a couples T-shirt of every serious relationship I’ve been in.

Is Tip being uncharacteristically thougthful? Or did he just grab a few spares and this is an ad-lib save?

I think he’s just a little jealous of the matching uniforms A-Sig had during Saint Charlie.

Unity just has the best smile of anyone in this comic doesn’t she? Civil rights are always awesome. But now I’m wondering how you gain enough support for this kind of law to pass considering mundanes would think you are joking, it would be political suicide in America to have people think you made a bill as a gag.

UNFORTUNATELY – there is too much bad science and pet theories making it into law as it is. Much of it due to willful ignorance or bias.

My favorite (non-partisan) is the periodic efforts to ban Dihydrogen Monoxide. It’s a gag – but I’m astounded at how many people fall for it – even after having it explained to them.

Actually people are seriously concerned about the levels of dihydrogen monoxide in the great lakes. (Something I like to bring up whenever the dihydrogen monoxide thing makes the rounds in my circles.)

If my memory serves – the H2 program “How The Earth Was Made” said something about part of the lowering level of lakewater is actually due (on the geological scale) to uplift – the earth is still springing back from the weight of the glaciers during the last ice age. Only a small bit, but I’m sure its contributing.

Levels of dihydrogen monoxide in the great lakes are higher now than they have been for quite a while.

Indeed, many farmers in Michigan were unable to even plant crops this year because of unacceptably high levels of dihydrogen monoxide in the soil in their fields.

To paraphrase two of my friends from California, “Yeah, we’ve got a bad habit of always going for the joke vote and thinking no one else will.”

I suggest pork barrel legislation. Add it to something they’d take seriously. Maybe they won’t even notice until afterward.

Interesting how more good seems to get done when they’re not on the job. Kind of reinforces Sweetheart’s fears about the agency.

Seems hard to believe that various “religious” people from nearby states wouldn’t object to such a proposition and do their best to stop it. More evidence this isn’t our world (luckily for us?).

(Not that I’m bitter or anything about our world’s history.)

Uh, do you really have to be religious to have objections towards nasty undead who try to eat your brain? o_O

Where was Skin Horse while all this developed? Staying out of the way of course. Sometimes it’s good to just stand aside and let the democratic process take its course… Oh wait, they work for the government. Never mind then!

Mind you, aren’t Civil Service supposed to avoid interfering with the democratic process? So, strictly, our heroes should turn up saying: “We’re here to defend the tiny handful of rights you’ve won so far. Shame about the headshots, but them’s the breaks.”

Well not all undead are nasty and/or have a taste for the grey matter! Why should they all suffer for the idiosyncrasies of a few?

That’s profiling there, Barb, and profiling? That IS wrong.

      @ rasufelle,
Heh. No probs. It’s a new system and these things happen. ^^

And you do have a point. I should have remembered to make allowances for the relatively virtuous few who go around drinking blood and hypnotizing women into becoming sex slaves as well. That’s *ever* so much nicer! ^_~

      “…”

Mind you, I do think that I would still have severe objections to *nice* undead who wanted to eat my brain as well. Some nasty old part of my mind known as “the survival instinct” would just plain resent it and reject it. >_>

C’est apres minuit, ou est le dimanche Peau-Cheval supplementaire? Just wondering–the updates have been like clockwork.

(…I was wondering what “Skin Horse” was in French and then it snowballed from there.)

Just like Moustachio, the server has to be wound each day in order to keep up.
