I relate to that. I’m a solitary animal.
I avoid socialising in person at all these days because my subconscious only recognises two forms of interaction : fighting behaviour and mating behaviour… and though I know most human behaviour falls outside those two categories, it is kinda difficult to handle people when absolutely everything is being interpreted as either hostility or flirting… or sometimes both.
Honestly, most things just register as the former these days. Everyone is an enemy. That is why I don’t go outside much.
I’ve started feeling hostile toward you because you seem like an endless font of negativity. I think you’re the only commenter on this entire site I dislike. I don’t know if you sense hostility from everyone because your negativity is annoying, or if you’re grouchy because you think everyone hates you, or if it’s a vicious cycle. If so, I hope I haven’t contributed to it.
You’ll probably never read this comment anyway. If you do, have you tried therapy? Most therapists are much more competent than Tip (he’s not licensed for that anyway.)
Most of the remainder of human behavior is enslavement behavior: fabricating social control mechanisms by which to ensnare others into doing your bidding for the purpose of out-competing (fighting with) them. This has been institutionalized in many forms, with psychotherapy being only the latest. The only thing a shrink will tell you in the end is to be a good obedient victim and play along with those using you as a social crutch.
Solitude may be painful thanks to our idiotic social ape instincts, but it’s the only rational choice.
Regarding the goats… if these are Rocky Mountain Goats, the females tend to herd and the males live in small groups. It is true that the males and females only really hang out together during mating season, though.

So that’s why you’re so grumpy!
Have you considered prozac?

@Wewolfe And you’re quickly vying for spot #2 behind Soto up there for disagreable edgelord commenters.

There appears to be some amount of psychic bleed going on from the notaries to the wildlife at large.
