    Um… Most bamboo contains toxic levels of cyanide. Not a good thing for a human to munch. Pandas (and bamboo lemurs) must have special adaptations to eat as much as they do, but no one has yet worked out how they detoxify it…

      Given my understanding of Panda behaviour, I assume they keep it out of any vital organs by storing it all in their brain.
