Raspberry sauce. Good idea. I tried that with honey once. Turns out local honey can contain allergens. I learned this after her skin turned bright red and she started screaming. Turns out there’s a reason epi-pens come in containers of two. One for her to administer on herself, one to stab me with because she was just that angry. On the other hand, epinephrine can cause priapism, so the night wasn’t ruined entirely.
SOOOO true! Unless you have a strong stomach and nerves of steel, NEVER ask someone in the medical profession how their day went. ESPECIALLY nurses, EMTs, and nurses’ aides.
I know this from practical experience, having a mother who’s a retired RN.
Oh, and ER docs, nurses, and EMTs all trade horror stories, despite patient confidentiality rules. Not only have they seen it all, but they’ve also heard it all. And they can tell you all about it in graphic detail!
She keeps throwing out these little offhand comments throughout the series, and to this day I’m kind of unsure how exactly she would define her sexuality. Much like her intelligence, it’s just seems to be completely absent until, suddenly and sporadically, its bursts forth in the weirdest damn ways.
I have come to the conclusion that she wouldn’t define her sexuality at all. If you really pressed her for an answer, she would probably start quoting something from the Hot Goblin book series, and you would only be more confused than had you just left well enough alone.
Given what we see of her lovelife and all the little comments she makes, her sexuality seems to be “I like this person”. Which is possibly some variation of demisexual, adjusted for Unity’s attention span.
Raspberry is probably too sweet to go with meat that’s similar to pork. You want something that’s sweet, but not sugary. Unity’s port wine demiglace is a good suggestion. A cranberry Cumberland sauce is what I would go with.
