Uhm… There are quite a few “Brentwood” s. Which one?
I’m guessing “whichever one is the least funky.” I doubt it really matters. Presumably her childhood is incongruous with her current personality.
The least funky Brentwood is probably the original one in Essex.
The top Google result is “an affluent neighborhood in the Westside of Los Angeles, California”, which seems likely.
There’s also one in/near San Fran. Matches up with the .commer, although of course she could have moved.
I get the feeling that this entire story line may have come about in order to make the reference in Panel 1.
