There’s a reference to people being revived towards the end of Railway Children, but I don’t remember if we find out why Sweetheart knows they practice reincarnation there. http://skin-horse.com/comic/beyond-her/
Does he mean “Anasigma research station” or does he mean “train station”?
Clearly this FUBAR needed *more* mad scientists, reality warpers, perception warpers and zombies (non-vegetation-based subtype). Next stop St Charlie; all aboard!
Just looked back, he wasn’t with their party
Hence Peirson’s dismay at discovering him in their outpost.
Madblood in a kilt?
That’s what I thought, particularly from the profile in the last panel.
Nope, that’s me. 🙂
Madblood was never that beefy – he’s a scrawny little thing.
He also probably would never wear a kilt. (Also Madblood had round glasses, and they’ve always been opaque, not clear.)
The idea of Madblood wearing a kilt makes my brain screech to a full halt and demand Tequila.
Makes me laugh so hard I almost peed myself.
Too heavyset. I think he’s from St. Charlie.
I’m wondering why he’s here. It’s impossible!
The odds against it are a million to one! ^_^
I thought I recognized the guy, but didn’t he get zombie-et?
The last time I remember seeing Dr Phillips, he was on the roof of Annex One. http://skin-horse.com/comic/laser-eyes/
True – I’m curious myself. But hey, at least I got better!

They’re Mad scientists (and/or their creations). Do you really need more of a reason?
Oh, and it’s not reincarnation. It’s revivification / reanimation. Sometimes the difference is subtle, but there’s still a difference.
I’m just here to throw in links to his first appearance and limbo reference.
Heh. By sheer coincidence I was re-reading Skin Horse last night. He was in the underground mad genius city on rails.
Is he some RL person’s cameo?
Indeed I am!

If that’s a kilt, maybe my bagpipes comment yesterday wasn’t so far off.
“Boozy lout”?
Seems more like a “Drunken Master” to me.
Although the two groups DO overlap. Considerably.
When things are at their darkest, team, it’s a brave madboy that can kick back and party.
If the outpost has a basement, St. Charlie probably can stop there.
“How did you get in?”
“Get in? I was in the restroom when they evacuated, I’ve been trying to open that door for months!”
Fortunately, the bar was fully stocked. It’s running a little low now.
Isn’t that one of the guys from St Charlie? The guy who keeps getting caught out saying things are imp—
Only the penitent man will pass. Also the Calypso man.
