Correct me if I’m wrong, but wasn’t the only time Tip ever solved anything with the puppets the time when Moustachio got snapped into evil mode and tried to blow up Annex One? And that was only because emoting caused Moustachio to overheat.
Do those wings actually work, do y’all think, or are they just kind of a visual of Goose Girl’s mental state– frantic alarm, constant moult, constant hissing? Can she actually use them to fly, gods help us? I once startled a wild turkey while out hiking on my Grandmama’s property, and it flew straight into a pinetree; that’s what I keep picturing. (Wild turkeys are usually much, much, MUCH smarter than tame-bred ones, but I scared the crap out of this one.)
Based on the 1st panel of yesterdays strip, I’d say she can fly (at least briefly.) Either that or she has a penchant for just leaping into the air and extending her legs in front of her at random times (which I confess wouldn’t seem entirely out of character.)
If Goose-Girl does everything a goose can, she IS a warning klaxon. Take it from someone who once lived on a university campus that had four different species of goose. (Volume ratings, low to high: Snow, Barnacle, Canada, Greylag.)
Is he saying “lose my cool” as in freak out or “lose my cool” as in “lose my street cred”
I think Goose Girl said that, so she almost certainly means freak out. I shudder to imagine what Goose Girl might be like when she freaks out.
I suspect that A. It’s not nothing, and B. She’s going to lose her cool anyway.
And I agree… no one wants to imagine what that might be like.
Fiver says Tip is gonna solve the issue with puppets and psychology.
I’d be willing to take that bet.

Does it count if he only attempts to solve it?
She can lose her cool, so long as the HMS Habakkuk doesn’t lose its cool.
Given the size of that tentacle/tail/appendage, I would say that the Habakkuk will crack under the pressure. It may go completely to pieces.

That is a hilarious mental image
And it’s cartoon physics, so she could actually hang there in mid-air for a few seconds.
Jonah Yu’s psychic vision of the future is manifesting itself again. Maybe he’d be a good recruit to AG-I.
That is what I was thinking. I’m sure the could use a procog on the team.
Poor sea monster. It’s only been a few minutes since it mauled Nick, but everyone’s forgotten about it already.
And it’s trying so desperately to get their attention.

Well, Ancient Rome was once saved by a flock of geese
Why don’t someone just look out the window? o_O
