Proof that Nick is a FARK regular. The answer is always C.

No, you can’t have a second chance. Not yours.

(TUNE: “People Are Strange”, The Doors)

    Zombies are cool,
    Shambling and moaning …
    Unity’s owning,
    Saving K.T.!
    I’m not afraid to
    Ride to your rescue,
    But I won’t ask you
    If you like me!

     [CHORUS:]
      Zombie’s cool …
      Even when covered with drool,
      They’re still cool!
      Me, I’m a love-stricken fool!
      I’m not cool!
      I’m a tool!
      I’m not … cool …

    Zombies are cool,
    Wish I were cool, too!
    But, that I love you,
    I cannot say!
    Given some options,
    I say the “C” thing,
    Although I’m feeling
    D, B, and A!
     [repeat CHORUS]

Oddly enough, Nick might have actually chosen the ‘best’ answer. They can have ‘the talk’ any time, and probably should wait until they’re alone. And how often do you get to run madly from zombies?

Agreed. Relationships borne of high-stress situations almost never work out, even when they’re based off of existing friendships.

In Nick’s real life? Quite regularly. This is at least the fourth mission on which members of the field team have dealt with zombies since he joined Skin Horse (although one of them happened off-panel). One time Nick even got to kill a whole bunch of them with tree-cutting equipment!

If he’s doing it because, well, not the right time I’m inclined to agree. Hopefully he’s not just putting it off because of the cowardice he mentions.

Ah, but it’s Ginny doing the running this time. And she’s excited about getting to do ‘field work.’

This picture from the 2014 Iditarod sled race reminded me _so much_ of the Dead Dogs storyline:

If that link’s no good, try this one:

Did it have anything to do with how the doggy-door on the far left is ferociously ripped apart?
