Nope. One of the primary distinctions that makes one a hominin specifically, as opposed to a hominid in general, is that they walk upright. All hominins are hominids, but not all hominids are hominins.
She was created as an item in the arms race, so not so much a participant as a prize. Fortunately (or unfortunately, depending on your point of view) she had other ideas.
Different chain of thought. Mine was roughly “agents with arms _and_ legs. That leaves out Mustachio. Oh wait, wasn’t he now attached (literally) to Hitty? Wonder when they’re going to reappear. …”
(Really, as a sterling (or at least brass) member of the Skin Horse roster almost from the start, Mustachio deserves more web time than he’s been receiving lately. And his own body back. And legs. And a pony.)
Since she’s talking about moving boxes, I equated arms with muscles (which Tip is somewhat lacking, despite having been in the Army… he’s gotten soft). Carrying guns wouldn’t be of much use for carrying heavy objects.
Unity might not be much help, either. Her arms have an unfortunate tendency to fall off.
Arms make the man.
Clothes make the man… Arms make the man manly. Just ask Konstantin.
Technically, upright stance makes the… hominin, I suppose.
Hominid, nyao.

But only Tigerlilly is a hominahominahominid.
How many arms would Unity have attached? Sometimes she’s a man, too.
Yeah, but it wasn’t arms that made her a man…
So this means that she wouldn’t be a participant in the arms race? o_O

As many as she wants (and twice as many as the number of the original owners.)
Oh, I’m sure they would’ve found a way to get Unity to haul boxes… if she hadn’t been made director, that is
Sweetheart. I meant sweetheart
Speaking of agents with arms, are Hitty and Mustachio’s head going to get in on the action this chapter? I miss ’em.
Well, their arms are a little on the small side…
It’s the thought that counts.

Well, my thought (which hasn’t been picked up by anybody, far as I can read), was arms = guns.
Well, Unity has an awesome set of guns, and she doesn’t even work out.
And Tip has his Colt, Alice, so either way the joke holds.

Mustachio _literally_ has small arms (or did) http://skin-horse.com/comic/todays-comic-210/
