I’m finding it incredibly awesome that after reading these latest comics I’m getting a “something’s wrong” vibe, only to remember after a couple of seconds that Unity’s coloration is reversed from usual. It’s a great effect.
True. It’s only that I’m always wary when a Major Named NPC is just sitting there alone when I come into the room, and telling me that another Major Named NPC has died off-screen… but here, look, here’s that MacGuffin that we were all talking about so let’s get going on the quest line and hey! Who’s up for some ominous, yet obscure commentary?
In this universe, he was what? a wealthy but humble miser, famed for his hard-headed attitude but curious lack of wisdom? Or is that overthinking the mirror-ness?
Wiki the Emperor Norton. I don’t know if Joshua Norton was crazy, or crazy like a fox. Early SF could be grim, but after he “took charge”, he did no work, missed no meals, was widely loved… and one cop made the mistake of arresting him. Once.
I don’t know U.N.I.T.Y. Some of those incomprehensible cryptic mentor types are some of the best kinds. Their advice may sound like babble, but it always comes in handy somewhere down the road.
Ah, so KT and the director did switch places entirely. KT ran into Unity in the prime universe, while the director was eaten by the crocs.
Is being eaten by alligators or Unity a worse fate?
Unity had a fork.
And yet KT ran into normal Unity, while Sewer Santa ran into her brain-hopped version.
But we don’t know what went down before in *this* universe.

Yeah, I’m appreciating that as well. It’s a really simple touch that does its job perfectly.
…I’m even more disturbed about Mirror Emperor Norton than I am about Mirror Unity.
As far as I can tell, he’s not mirrored, he just has a different colored sash.
Could that be a “Man in the Iron Mask” reference?

No, he means mirror Norton.
Looks like the powerful swamp poison is bright shocking pink. Pepto-tradename?

It’s suspicious, especially since the powerful swamp poison was green when KT created it on-screen.
The Swamp poison was green in the original version of events, wasn’t it?
But in the mirror universe…
