I think in the end, it doesn’t really matter what Lovetron is like. Actually seeing it would be a distraction at this point. For good or ill, Earth is home for the nonhuman sapients- and as a certain work that heavily inspired this comic would remind us, there’s no place like home.
Until someone proves otherwise, I’m sticking to my theory that there is no “planet”, and Lovetron is a physical location somewhere on Earth – possibly Groom Lake.
Long before Pavane was “born”, Gavotte was duped (the “how” remains to be seen) into believing that Lovetron was a real planet, and that all bees originated from there. So Pavane was “born” believing that as well.
I don’t think Occam’s razor leads us to “Alien civilization on another planet (but only one) that is Earth biology compatible but also has exactly matching immune system responses, with multiple sapient species, one of which looks exactly like they belong within the Earth evolutionary tree but has a group mind.” rather than “Somebody lied once.”
Somebody lied once, and maintained that lie for years, and provided Pavane with a flying saucer while conning her into believing she’d returned to a fictional planet…
Occam’s razor doesn’t just say “complicated things aren’t true”, or even “unlikely things aren’t true”, it says “entities should not be multiplied beyond neccessity”. Adding an entirely new faction manipulating Pavane undetectably for unknown motives is exactly that.
My suspicion is that Lovetron doesn’t presently exist, but that either Pavanne intends to remake Earth in its image or that Pavanne and Gavotte are time travellers and Lovetron is Earth in the Dreadful Future (recall that this was the title of the chapter in which various characters received dream-visitations from Pavanne). The claim that Tigerlilly is a native of Lovetron might actually be true, albeit in a rather deceptive way
Between that big dinner of Anasigma tanks, and a dessert of popsicles (possibly frozen-nitrogen slices from that nice roadside stand on Pluto) I suspect Unity may be full, at least for now.
Yes!
Congrats to Duane B. for calling the location!
(assuming the saucer actually landed at the former site of Annex One and we aren’t just seeing Mojo at work)
I doubt Mojo would have brought Sweetheart along for the ride. But you never know.
Sweetheart could teleport, but it took anger, not mojo.
Files!
I’m getting a Peter Pan vibe from that dress.
Indeed.
And Tip would look so fetching in a Tinkerbell outfit!
It wouldn’t surprise me if he had one once upon a time.
I’m missing the sequins.
You’re right, no sparkles.
So then that means that we might never find out the truth about planet Lovetron. Atfirst I accidentally said groovetron.

While that might be possible, we’ve seen nothing at all to suggest it, so Occam’s Razor goes against it pretty heavily.

Which, to be clear, doesn’t mean it’s wrong! It just means that, right now, there’s no particular reason to believe it’s right.
This is Skin Horse. Occam is probably in a corner somewhere crying and in desperate need of a shave.
Well put.

Tip’s mind has been blown
If it is Peter Pan, Is tip running off to be Wendy?
Well, now, I could see that.
That’s an intriguing idea, Duane! And the former basement denizens could make up The Lost Boys.
Well, “Peter Pan” was always Wendy’s story.
Bow-wow-wow-yippie-yo-yippie-yeah
Now I have to listen to that. Luckily I have it right here in my iTunes library and it’s just a click away.
Heaven’s just a click away, oooooh, just a click away!
Careful: Unity might get jealous and/or hungry.
Between that big dinner of Anasigma tanks, and a dessert of popsicles (possibly frozen-nitrogen slices from that nice roadside stand on Pluto) I suspect Unity may be full, at least for now.
Sweetheart has no idea which “more sensible” words would hold any hope to describe the situation with any accuracy, does she? :-3
She’s yang to her yin just because of their respective color schemes.
Sweetheart is Order to Tigerlilly’s Chaos.
Tigerlily has come back to Tip. The fighting went on on the ship. The gang fought the power so right here and now her mojo has ended the trip.

…many thanks!! for bringing this back to my ears.
Daibhid: You don’t need a mysterious “someone” to provide a flying saucer when Tigerlily has made one before.
