There’s never a good strawberry scone around when you need one…

You would think people would understand how important it is to focus on the priorities. @_@

Love the eager, optimistic look on Sweetheart in panel 3. You’d think she would know better by now.
Ginny’s glasses are blank/reflective in panel 1; transparent in panel 2. Some folks here will try to read meaning into that fact. (They might be right.)

The meaning is that one is a distant view and one is close. That is an entirely consistent pattern in SH art.

They may be right by coincidence, but Shaenon and Jeff have repeatedly told us that the Narbonic art rules don’t apply to Ginny.

… on the other hand I’m never *quite* convinced that Shaenon doesn’t sometimes subconsciously follow those rules anyway, given that we’re still in the Narboniverse. 😛

Things could be worse. At least they’re not in a comfy chair.

I’ve seen dogs slip out of the tightest collars, and yet Sweetheart is bound by a couple padded straps? She really has gotten soft.

Certainly Sweetheart could escape – but that would constitute a Rampage, and she’s not there yet.

        She can’t rampage… there’s no coffee.

I *adore* Sweetheart’s expression in the first panel. She just looks SO IRRITATED!

“If you helped design them you must know the secret weaknesses!”
“No, when I design something, it doesn’t have secret weaknesses. Not mad, remember?”
    “It’s really hard to sometimes.”

Doctor Lee… I’d say I worry about your priorities, but at this point I’m more disappointed that Sweetheart hasn’t gotten the memo.

Virginia Lee does it again. They’re trapped and imprisoned, but then…Anasigma has trained her, these pods now restrain her. At least she won’t cramp up, amen.

To paraphrase Scrooge McDuck, sometimes Dr. Lee can be too efficient.

The Star Wars saga would have been a hell of a lot shorter if the Empire had hired Virginia Lee instead of Galen Urso.
